Vehicle Burglaries

The Marana Police Department is investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that took place in a neighborhood near Silverbell Rd and Wade Rd. A total of 14 vehicles have been reported to have been burglarized. The incident occurred between 1 a.m. on 10/29/14 and 4 a.m. on 10/30/14. The vehicles had been parked in or near the driveways of the victim’s residence. Several vehicles sustained forced entry and several had been left unlocked. Personal property was stolen from the inside each of the vehicles. Detectives are now investigating and conducting additional follow up. MPD would like to remind everyone to always lock your car doors and remove valuables from your vehicle even when it is parked in front of your house. We are asking the community to please contact us if they have any information that can assist with this investigation.
