The Marana Police Department, in partnership with the Marana Health Center; Marana-Foothills Optimist Club, Marana Mortuary and Pima County Wastewater, encourage citizens, businesses and schools to join us in sharing information about drug awareness and preventive measures. The Marana Police Department will be hosting a prescription drug take-back on: Date: Saturday February 14th, 2015 Location: 3901 W Ina Rd, Target - (Southwest corner of west Ina Rd and north Thornydale Rd) Time: 10:00 am to Noon The Police Department provides this opportunity for the proper disposal of unused and/or expired prescription drugs. Prescription and over-the-counter tablets and capsules will be collected. Metal or glass inhalation aerosol bottles, syringes, liquids and epi-pens will not be accepted. For safety and confidentiality reasons, any items turned over for collection cannot be returned. We cannot accept drugs from commercial organizations. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
