The Marana Police Department’s Traffic Enforcement Unit is beginning a high visibility traffic detail on Camino De Manana between Twin Peaks and Tangerine. Additional Officers will be conducting traffic enforcement throughout the day, specifically focusing on morning and evening rush hour. This detail is scheduled to run December 7th-11th. A recent traffic/speed study showed the need for traffic enforcement in this area. We would like to remind citizens to obey traffic laws, slow down, drive safely and be more aware of their surroundings, The Traffic enforcement on Camino De Manana is designed to increase the safety of those who use it on a daily Basis. This traffic safety detail is part of the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program Grant that is funded by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
